I can no longer farm on my property due to government legislation that has devalued it by 75% and banks will not support a government legislated non-producing farmer.
Radical Green and political greed has forced a fire sale of this magnificent property that would have been and environmental masterpiece and productive national resource now being my financial ruin on 17th December 2006.

This man and his family have been systematically sent broke by government hell bent on legislating Radical Green policies as the hidden agenda works the farmers out.
Peter Spencer has drafted and email to all politicians in NSW and Federal to ask them for a reply as to "Do They Believe In Justice" with overwhelming evidence against
Government for not compensating land holders for their legislation that has sent them broke.

Peter Spencer states:
I spent much of my childhood in the 50s on the maternal farm across the Tumut River from Cabramurra - at Maragle, where my ancestors had been since the 1830s. Much to my regret the farm was sold to the Forestry, in the mid 60s. Subsequently, in search of my roots, my life's dream and entire focus was to get my high country farm back.
After much work In 1980 I bought the first of four adjoining properties just south of the ACT. The northern boundary fence was the ACT NSW State line. The property boasted altitudes from 750 meters on the Murrumbidgee to just under 1600 meters in the mount Clear Range. With 34 inch rain fall, green high country pastures and towering Alpine Ash and Mountain Gum Forests I was home. Seven streams flowed from the snow covered Mountains with one ideally suited for a fine fly fishing lodge.
The forests of Ash and Gum are the largest private stands in NSW.
To me "Saarahnlee" named after my first 4 of 6 children, was heaven. Little did I know how the farm was going to tear us to pieces.
The farm from the outset had to be diverse but sustainable. The property had to retain its hardwood timber forests and high country grazing land which had been cleared and fenced but also overtime we wanted to develop eco system services and recreational activities. The farm had to be able to achieve an income stream from business other then agriculture. Further we wanted agro forestry so our grazing impact on our high country was minimal and our timber resource maximised.

Question

My question is to the Prime Minister. Is the Prime Minister aware of the report by the National Farmers Federation which concluded that a domestic
emissions trading scheme could provide farmers with an income of $700 million to $900 million over five years through payments for carbon stored in forests?
Prime Minister, isn’t it a fact that reductions in land clearing could be providing farmers with an income stream of $1.8 billion from carbon credits through
the Kyoto protocol over five years?
Prime Minister, isn’t it the case that the government’s opposition to the Kyoto protocol and the failure to introduce a national
emissions trading scheme has penalised farmers to the tune of $2.5 billion over five years?

Treasusuer Peter Costello stated on ABC "Breakfast" radio Tuesday 10th October 2006, at 7.40am says on this interview that his Government stopped land clearing -

"Peter Spencer's Saga [so close to Armistice Day] is by no means an isolated gut-wrenching example of the unimaginable political cowardice of Australian Governments at their very conniving and expedient worst. Rather, his story exposes a tale that could easily belong to anyone of a thousand or more farmers who've lost everything.
His is the inconceivable word-picture of how the slow-acting contamination-creep in treachery, in the introduction of a capitalist poison, deliberately placed by the virulent socialist enemy under the guise of "democracy", has eventually given an unconscionable government, total and absolute control of one's freehold investment.
The subtly in the conspiratorial contrivance, has been moving underground throughout the Lucky RURAL Country, until, in a period now nearing two decades, the Natural RURAL Resource Green Agenda [in assuming ownership of private LAND by theft] has "taken" that which belongs to another without any compensation ... just or otherwise.
Covert governments have "taken" [in contradiction of the Constitutional Oath of Office .... Thou Shalt Not Steal ] and have self-righteously assumed public service ownership-positions in "discretionary-management" of the private investment, to determinate the so called environmental "use" of the LAND through the devious "acquisitive" REGULATORY intent in being able, at the end of the day, to "take" the family farm [at little to no acquisitive-cost] through the cancerous creep of corporatisation, and hand delivering it to globalisation.
Under cover of darkness and with a majority in the NSW House, FREEHOLD URBAN LANDOWNERS have now been drawn into the same legislative hypocrisy of a different but no less devious "taking" by "stealing", where new "acquisitive and resumptive" legislation was enacted at midnight to destroy legitimate Planning & Development opportunities for those who own smaller blocks of LAND, on the Urban interface. Now water rights paid for are being taken with out State compensation. If fact unbelievably the State is passing laws to remove them selves from being liable for such acts of theft.
The government's deliberate and duplicitous underground contrivance employed in destroying the 800 year old root-system of these entrenched SETTLED FREEHOLD PRINCIPLES to deliver a Mabo-type parliamentary-tenure, is now fully revealed. It proves, beyond doubt, that modern party-political expedience overrides morality and principle and there is no political conscience. We can trust no government; and we must walk together as one, in order to defeat the enemy on our own freehold soil.
The tentacles of FREEHOLD Australia, coupled with a crippling drought, gasps for survival. There is no more time to lose. Both Federal and State Governments offensively offer questionable "drought relief" whilst at the same time, "elected representatives" patronisingly ignore the slow strangulation through the cowardly enforcement of this calculated overriding in "taking" our freehold Natural Resources away and smothering them in debilitating and useless REGULATION.
Primer Minister Howard said last week that his government would never "take" what belonged to another without just compensation; yet in the predictable double political-speak he lied [in the Parliament to Tony Windsor] by omission. His Federal Government has very publicly funded the implementation of the National Water Initiative and administratively facilitated the unlawful Natural Resource Management Acts of the States to the lament of more than $900m. "Taking" through the back-door is still stealing.
Currently a challenge to the fracturing of our Constitutional and settled freehold principles has begun in a NSW Court. The nations' freehold underwriters of the social and economic economy can only be achieved if we can now fully expose the treachery through the "independence" of the Court.

greedy politician verging on tyranny to steal this from us. Please help us to fight these injustice issues they affect you and your children immorality is rife and turning our back on these threats to our way of life will not solve the problem.
We are fighting these issues in the Court AND To lessen the potentially explosive cost of legal Court challenge, volunteers have prepared and continue to prepare the argument and to date a volunteer is arguing the case. The signs are encouraging. From time to time there will need to be professional legal input and to this end we urgently seek financial assistance to provide appropriate and responsible support. When the Freehold Court challenge is eventually delivered [as it must be ... else this Nation goes down the drain] then each Government will have no alternative but to compensate for a theft of "taking" that to which they were NEVER entitled. For now we need to support Peter because in supporting him we deliver to the wider community. We believe any surplus to the FUND beyond our immediate needs should remain for some inevitable future in Trust. Please HELP us SAVE ourselves. Thank You.
